Some people define Fantasy Fiction very narrowly, thinking in terms of off the peg dwarves with axes and elves with bows, talking dragons and wizards.
Obviously, human fantasy is a bit more than that.
A whole lot more than that.
On this site I'm going to simply have real fantasy creations, most likely created with Project Sanctuary, one way or the other, in word, but also in song, dance and sculpture, and in paintings, drawings, artwork.
Once again, we do not want to confine ourselves to airbrushed, photoshopped depictions of muscly heroes, scantily clad DD victims and scaley dragons, nice though they may be.
Fantasy stories for children, all kinds of modalities, techniques are welcome here, including highly abstract fantasy art.
Something else I don't want to exclude are machines. Fantasy is all-encompassing. It can be holy and thunderous, as well as light and funny, it can be scary and horrific, it can play in any alternate reality and that would include a techno-future as well, and so really, the gloves are off here.
Hopefully in the future we'll find some more writers who want to break out of the boxes of "genres" and just play with human imagination.
Hopefully, we can play a little again as it hasn't been done for a hundred years and create the ideas that in a hundred years from now they'll make the 193rd Batman movie out of, if you know what I mean.
Freeing fantasy to be all that it could be is one of my dreams, something that inspires me daily, and this site is a part of that dream.
I hope you find something to engage you, inspire you and spark your own fantasy to show you new things, bright things, things that have never been before.
